Ingredients:
- Pearl barley - 1.5 stack.
- Beef - 400 g
- Mushrooms - 200 g
- Green peas - 100 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Salt, pepper, spices - to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Preparation:
1 . Cut Meat into portions and fry until golden brown in vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper, add spices to taste. Add water and simmer until tender (about 40 minutes).2. Rinse mushrooms,cut into 4 pieces and add to the meat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
3. Cut Carrots into strips, onion - diced. Add the vegetables to the meat and mushrooms, simmer for 10 minutes under the lid closed.
3. When the vegetables are soft, add the peas and cook for no more than 2 minutes.
4. Pearl barley wash and soak in plenty of water overnight. In the morning drain the water, rinse again with barley and boil until tender in salted water. When the barley is ready, drain the water and wrap the pot with a blanket - then it all will be revealed and it will be very soft and beautiful.
5. To add the pearl barley vegetables and mushrooms. Gently stir and hold the fire for 1-2 minutes and serve.
