Ingredients:

Natural dyes:

  • Beet juice - 1 tbsp
  • Carrot juice - 1 tbsp
  • Spinach juice - 1 tbsp
  • Blueberry juice - 1 tbsp
  • Blackberry juice - 1 tbsp
  • Egg yolk - 1 pc.

for cake:

  • Flour - 3 ½ stack.
  • Baking powder - 2 tsp
  • Soda - ½ tsp
  • Sugar - 1 ¾ stack.
  • Butter - ¼ stack.
  • Sunflower oil - 1 ½ tbsp
  • Egg whites - 2 pcs.
  • Milk - 1 ⅔ stack.
  • Low-fat yogurt - ½ stack.
  • Vanilla - 2 ½ tsp

Cream:

  • Powdered sugar - 3 ¾ stack.
  • Melted butter - ½ stack.
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 3 tbsp

Glaze (optional):

  • Cream - 2 stack.
  • Powdered sugar - ¼ stack.
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 pinch

Preparation:

1. Prepare the natural dyes, using a juicer or juice ready. Juice from the berries cook in the microwave, heating ¼ cup blueberries and blackberries for 30 seconds. To create yellow, mix egg white with 1 tablespoon milk.
2. Cook the cakes: mix the butter and olive oil and sugar. Add the egg yolks and whisk together. Add vanilla, 1 stack. milk, yogurt, and gradually add the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
3. Pour six servings (½ ctak.) Test in different crockery. Add 1 for each colorant and mix. The remaining dough is set aside.
4. Pour the dough into a round baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cooked.
5. Cool the cakes, carefully remove them from the molds and trim the edges.



6. Prepare the cream: whisk all ingredients until smooth. Change the texture by adding more powdered sugar or milk.
7. Prepare the frosting: Whip the cream with the sugar and salt until soft peaks form. Add the vanilla.
8. When the cakes are completely cooled, begin to spread them in any color sequences sandwiching cream.
9. Place the rainbow cake in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, the cream is not flowed.
10. Using a knife, brush with rainbow cake remaining cream on top and garnish as desired creamy frosting.
