Ingredients:
- 1 l of water
- 1/3 cup pearl barley
- 4 things. pickles
- 3-4 potato tuber
- 2 pcs carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp. Spoon tomato paste
- Salt and herbs to taste
Preparation:
1. Rinse the barley and soak it overnight.2. In boiling salted water, add the barley and cook for 15-20 minutes. Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and add the barley and cook until tender. Slice the onion and fry it in vegetable oil until golden brown.
3. Grate the carrots on a grater, add the onions, season with salt and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the vegetable filling, add the tomato paste, stir and add to pot of soup.
4. Rub the grated pickles, add them to the soup and simmer another 10 minutes. Serve sprinkle with finely chopped dill pickle greens.
